P1 - Distance Participation Request

Procedure

At least two weeks prior to the date of the examination, the dissertation committee chair should request a comment be added in the Doctoral Exam Request Form in the Penn State Forms Dashboard in LionPATH. The comment section should include the following information:

  1. The name(s) of each committee member(s) participating via distance as allowed per GCAC 606 and 608.
  2. For each committee member participating via distance list the mode in which the identified member(s) will be participating (ex. Phone, Zoom, Skype, etc.).
  3. As per policy this notification does not require Graduate Enrollment Services approval
