Being a graduate student brings many personal and professional opportunities, but also challenges, from balancing course work with research or other scholarly pursuits, to building confidence in your ideas and capabilities, to the unexpected trials that happen in life. As a Penn State graduate student, you have access to many free wellness services.

Wellness Services for Students

The Fox Graduate School offers a variety of wellness services to students for free and by request, including:

Personalized Student Support

Individual appointments are available for:

  • Mindfulness and meditation practice

  • Goal-setting and values clarification

  • Strengths development

  • Enhancing natural and social supports

  • Resilience training and managing stress

  • Overcoming barriers to academic and personal success

Care and Consultation

Comprehensive resources are offered for:

  • Basic needs requests

  • Faculty/advisor communication concerns

  • Collaboration with key campus partners

  • Professional advocacy

  • Other support and resources to help you thrive

Group Wellness Workshops

Sessions are offered by request to student groups:

  • Discussions on wellness

  • Belonging-centered programming

  • Student organization team-building activities

Note: Workshop topics can be tailored to student groups.

Wellness Outreach Programs
