Graduate Student Emergency Fund

The Penn State Graduate Student Emergency Fund supports graduate students who are experiencing unexpected financial hardship due to personal crises. These funds help graduate students offset the cost of childcare, medical expenses, groceries, utilities, and other urgent and essential expenses. Often, these unexpected expenses serve as a barrier to degree completion.

Your support will help graduate students navigate temporary hardships to achieve their dream of earning an advanced degree from Penn State.

All graduate students at the University are eligible to receive these resources.

The Fox Graduate School’s Student Affairs office works in tandem with the Office of Student Care and Advocacy to provide holistic support to graduate students.
