Extended Absence with Course Drops

An approved absence from studies that begins after the start of the semester, is expected to last at least three weeks inclusive of the end of that semester, and in which the student in not expected to be able to complete their coursework. An Extended Absence with Course Drops is recorded in the student information system as a "Leave of Absence."
