The annual Graduate Exhibition is a series of events for the Penn State community that showcase innovative research and scholarship and offer a way for graduate students to hone their scientific and technical communication skills. Hundreds of graduate students from across Penn State exhibit their projects through research posters, performances, art, and videos — all geared toward the general public. Volunteer judges from the community evaluate students to provide constructive feedback, and the top-ranking students in each category receive monetary prizes and recognition.
Stop by the poster session, art gallery, performance night, or view videos online to show your support and learn something new about all the great research and creative scholarship being done at Penn State.

Three Minute Thesis
Saturday, March 29
3:00 p.m.
Nittany Lion Inn and Online
Could you summarize a 90,000-word thesis in only three minutes for the general public? Graduate students will do just that in the upcoming final round of Penn State's 2024-25 Three Minute Thesis competition. Ten students will present live at the Nittany Lion Inn and be judged by an invited panel of Penn State community members, while audience members can vote for their favorite for the People's Choice Award. Penn State is one of hundreds of universities all over the world to host a Three Minute Thesis event, a scholarly competition for graduate students first created by the University of Queensland, Australia.
Join us in person or watch online to support these talented graduate students as they share the importance and impact of their research.
Penn State graduate students are at the forefront of their research and scholarship in more than 200 graduate programs at Penn State. The Graduate Exhibition and Three Minute Thesis competition are opportunities for the general public to get a quick overview of hundreds of individual projects led by graduate students from across all Penn State campuses and academic colleges.
