Charles R. Veley (M.A., 1967, and Ph.D., 1970) married Pamela Veley (B.A., 1968, and Ph.D., 1977) in 1971. Their daughter, Anna, a 2000 Penn State and Schreyer Honors College alumna, went on to become historical novelist Anna Elliott. Charles and Anna are co-authors of the Sherlock Holmes and Lucy James Mystery Series, available in eBook, paper, and audiobook form. Their latest book was released on January 2.

Laura Kushner Zoellner (B.S., 1974 and M.S., 1978) retired after a 41-year career as a speech language pathologist and started a second career as an artist. Her paintings, prints and note cards have been displayed, won awards and been sold at various galleries in Florida, as well as online.

Jerome H. Zoeller, Jr. (M.S., 1985) worked in the fuel science field for many years at Texas A&M University. Upon retiring recently, he moved to San Antonio, where he is now enjoying retirement activities.
