Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Update

On March 11th the University announced that beginning March 16th instruction for all students will be moving to a remote delivery format. On March 18th, it was announced that the University is extending remote course delivery through the spring semester. Learn more at gradschool.psu.edu/covid19.

Commencement exercises for Penn State graduate students are held three times a year: at the end of the fall and spring semesters and at the end of the summer session. Attendance at commencement is expected. Students who do not attend commencement ceremonies will receive their diplomas in the mail. Diplomas are mailed by the University Registrar, and mailing addresses should be updated on LionPATH.
