Penn State team wins national competition on use of AI in the energy industry
Nicolas Bueno, Hanif Yoga, Nijat Gasimli, Ianna Gomez and Baran Yucel won the 2024 Chevron National Engineering Competition with the guidance of Turgay Ertekin, professor emeritus of petroleum and natural gas engineering and former department head of the John and Willie Leone Family Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering.
