Predoctoral Training Grant Development Incentive Award

Final requests for this program will be accepted through June 30, 2020.  This program will be concluded at the end of the 2019-20 fiscal year and no further applications will be accepted.

If you are interested in applying for a Predoctoral Training Grant Development Incentive Award, please contact gsfellowships@psu.edu. We are currently in the process of reworking this program and would like to work with you directly to determine your eligibility and to hear about the circumstances around your training grant application and award.

In the past, the Predoctoral Training Grant Development Incentive Award has provided incentive funds for faculty to develop competitive predoctoral training grant applications that, if funded, will enhance the quality of graduate education at Penn State and expand support for graduate student research. The Graduate School has provided extra compensation to selected faculty members who successfully complete and submit a competitive predoctoral training grant proposal for a multi-student, multi-year funding opportunity to any agency or foundation that supports such programs.
