Academic Computing Fellowship

Beginning in 1987 and continuing until the final class in fall 2020, Penn State provided an innovative fellowship program in computing applications. The program was for doctoral students who have a background and strong interest in computing applications within their disciplines. Through their participation in the program and the utilization of computing resources, the Academic Computing Fellows developed and disseminated new methods for problem solving within their disciplines.

New nominations for the Academic Computing Fellowship will no longer be accepted. Those students who applied in fall 2019 will receive information about whether they received the fellowship in spring 2020.
