Withdrawal

Purpose: to define withdrawal from the University.

Academic Goal: to define criteria by which graduate students, who are unable to complete the semester, may elect to withdraw from the University.

Scope: all graduate students.

Policy Statement

  1. The dropping of all academic work for which a student is registered in any semester constitutes withdrawal from the University, and changes the student’s status to nondegree.
  2. An application as a Returning Graduate Student must then be submitted and approved if the student wants to enroll for further work toward a degree.
