Policy Statement

  1. An undergraduate student who takes graduate courses is not classified as a graduate student because a baccalaureate degree has not been attained.
  2. An undergraduate senior with a 3.50 grade-point average may be admitted to 500- or 800-level courses with the consent of the instructor.
  3. An undergraduate senior with a 3.0 grade-point average or better may be admitted to 500- or 800-level courses with the consent of the instructor, the student’s academic adviser, and the director of Graduate Enrollment Services.

Process

Requests for an undergraduate to take 500- or 800-level graduate courses must be submitted to the Director of Graduate Student Services for consideration.
