New Graduate Student Orientation

New Graduate Student Orientation

On Wednesday, August 16, the Graduate School will sponsor a half-day orientation session for all new graduate students, including new international graduate students. This half-day session will be held at the Bryce Jordan Center from 1 to 5 p.m. and is followed by the annual Graduate School Reception at 5 p.m. in the South Annex of the Bryce Jordan Center. The afternoon session will cover important topics for new graduate students, including mentoring, scholarship and research integrity, and graduate student health insurance.

The health insurance session is mandatory for all new international graduate students.

Current students will be offering an optional one-hour campus tour for new graduate students starting at 10:00 a.m., prior to the orientation session.  The tour will begin at the main entrance of the Kern Graduate Building (across the street from the library) and conclude at the HUB-Robeson Center.  Graduate students will have ample time to get lunch before participating in the Orientation at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Registration will open on Monday, July 10.
