Nominate Outstanding Graduate Alumni

As the President of the Graduate School Alumni Society (GSAS), I have the privilege of meeting so many of our amazing graduate school alums. Be it during Board Meetings, the Career Exploration Workshop, the Graduate Exhibition, or the Doctoral Alumni Reunion, I’m always awed and amazed by the quality of the individuals who have received a graduate education and degree from Penn State University.

With that said, the event I look forward to each and every year (and circle on my calendar!) is the GSAS Recognition Dinner. This annual spring event recognizes Graduate School alumni recipients of the GSAS Lifetime Achievement Award, the GSAS Early Career Award and the GSAS Humanitarian Award.

For those who are not familiar with the awards, please take a moment to read their descriptions below. I’ve provided the links to the respective recipients of the 2017 awards.

The accomplishments of the above three recipients are truly inspiring, and I take great pride and joy in knowing that their graduate education at Penn State played a part in their success.

The best part of all is that we get to do it again each and every year, honoring the Graduate School’s best and brightest. Interested in nominating a deserving Graduate School alum? Follow the instructions below!
